CODE REDのリードギタリスト、糟谷達彦は、
2026年1月1日、自宅にて突然この世を去りました。

彼は25年以上にわたり私たちの親しい友人でもあり、CODE RED加入以前から、そして加入後も、サポートを含む数多くのバンドで共にステージに立ち、音楽を奏でてきました。

確かな技術と魂のこもったギタープレイは、共演したすべての仲間から深い信頼と尊敬を集めていました。

2020年にCODE REDへ加入して以来、彼はリードギタリストとしてバンドの音楽的支柱を担ってきました。
同時に、その温かい人柄はメンバーや周囲の人を明るくし、常にバンドを前へと押し進めてくれました。

ライブ前には各地の名物を一緒に味わい、何気ない会話でいつまでも笑い合う——彼は本当にかけがえのないバンドメイトであり、友人でした。

2025年には、リリース予定の新作アルバムにおける全てのギター録音を無事に終え、発表へ向けて準備を進めている最中でした。そのような矢先の突然の別れは、いまだに受け入れることができず、言葉を失うばかりです。

CODE REDに残してくれた音、情熱、そして共に過ごした時間は、これからもバンドの中に、そして私たちの心の中に生き続けます。
彼のギターは、これからもCODE REDの音楽の中で鳴り響き続けるでしょう。

CODE RED’s lead guitarist, Tatsuhiko Kasuya, passed away suddenly at his home on January 1, 2026.
He was also a close friend of ours for over 25 years, and both before and after joining CODE RED,
we shared the stage and played music together in numerous bands, including as a support musician.
His solid technique and soul-filled guitar playing consistently earned deep trust and respect from everyone he performed with.
Since joining CODE RED in 2020, he served as the musical backbone of the band as lead guitarist.
At the same time, his warm personality always brought light to the members and those around him, pushing the band forward.
Before shows, we would enjoy local specialties together and laugh endlessly over trivial conversations—he was truly an irreplaceable bandmate and friend.
In 2025, he successfully completed all guitar recordings for our upcoming new album, and we were preparing for its release in 2026.
His sudden passing at such a moment is something we can hardly accept, leaving us at a loss for words.
The sound, passion, and time he left behind with CODE RED will continue to live on within the band and in our hearts.
His guitar will continue to resonate through CODE RED’s music for years to come.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the kindness and support he received during his lifetime, and we sincerely pray for the peaceful repose of Tatsuhiko Kasuya.
